I have acquired a source of NEW cloth wiring. The wiring is now available in several colors to keep your electrical items looking like the original. All of the new cloth cording is rubber coated on the inside, to prevent sparking between cloth, and potentiallly causing a fire. This was a very common problem with the old cloth cording. Many people lost their homes to fire damage from frayed cording. When in doubt, don't through it out, have it replaced with quality new wiring.
